UK based Trouvay & Cauvin has set up a new safety division with international technical leaders in flame arrestors Elmac Technologies. This continues T & C’s rapid development as a provider of specialist products and the fulfilment of packages for major oil, petrochemical and gas projects. The development of partnerships with globally renowned manufacturers is key.

“We have worked closely with Elmac for many years benefiting from its considerable expertise and broad range of products,” says T & C’s Jon Mason. “This agreement builds an even stronger relationship to increase the value and service we offer to customers.” T & C will promote Elmac’s profile with UK engineering contractors and in Libya and Egypt through its fast expanding network.

Elmac’s product line up includes in-line and end-of-line deflagration flame arrestors and in-line detonation flame arrestors. Each provides enhanced levels of protection against the effects of accidental ignition for personnel and plant such as storage tanks, vapour recovery systems and other key processes.

Peter Leppard of Elmac comments “Trouvay & Cauvin share the values we have – a commitment to technical and commercial excellence and a strong sense or responsibility – so vital in safety situations.”

The move ends a period where T & C have concluded significant agreements with other quality product manufacturers: Tejas – choke valves, Arflu – gate, globe and check valves, Viar Valvole – ball valves and CDB – filtration.
