The exhibition, held between Monday the 16th & Thursday the 19th was split into two sections. One dealing with the Oil and Gas sector and the other with the Utilities sector, with approximately twice as many exhibitors exhibiting in the former section as opposed to the second. Exhibitors, although relatively few in number at about 150 in total were of high calibre and included Brown and Root, Petro Canada and BP.
The decision to exhibit in the Utilities hall, as well as the Oil & Gas hall, was taken to promote the range of plastic and iron pipes, fittings, and valves currently offered by Trouvay & Cauvin for the Libyan market in conjunction with its partners, namely Wask, Radius Systems, Hy-Ram and Electrosteel.
The exhibition was well attended and there was considerable interest in the range of PE pipes, Fittings, Jointing equipment and Ductile Iron pipe work systems exhibited within the Utilities hall. The major interest was expressed by visiting contracting companies working within the water and waste water sectors, but also in the general civils market where Trouvay is able to offer twin walled plastic, steel and ductile iron solutions as appropriate.
The attendees visiting the stand included firms not only from Libya but also Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey, China, Korea, Italy, Spain and Germany, thus expanding the international exposure of Trouvay and its partners.
